Credentials and Awards

Previously, I utilized my Bachelor of Science in Education to teach. Then, I became licensed to sell real estate in the state of North Carolina in 1996 and was welcomed by  Howard Perry And Walston Better Homes And Gardens in Cary, North Carolina.

I also joined the National Association of REALTORS and agreed to follow their code of ethics, thus earning the designation of REALTOR.

In 1998 I successfully completed the designated curriculum and satisfied the practical experience requirements to be awarded the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation.

Also in 1998 I earned the designation: Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), "signifying mastery of an intense training program of classroom instruction.  The GRI is a   nationally recognized professional designation.  The GRI curriculum and standards are governed by the National Association of Realtors, the nations largest trade association with a membership of over 1,000,000.  On a national level only 10 percent of the Realtors hold this prestigious designation.  Miss Langdon is one of a select group in North Carolina who currently hold this designation."

I became a Corporate Relocation Specialist through completing on going required training as well as working with transferees assigned from our Corporate Real Estate Services division.

On October 17, 2001 Howard Perry And Walston Better Homes And Gardens changed their company affiliation and became Coldwell Banker Howard Perry And Walston.

On May 17, 2002 I was inducted into the prestigious International Real Estate Hall of Fame. The International Real Estate Hall of Fame takes an active role to commemorate those individuals who have proven they are the industry’s finest representatives, as   well as serving their communities in civic or charitable causes. Vanna is associated    with Coldwell Banker, Howard Perry and Walston and in addition to her successful    Real Estate career has been active in various children’s groups and is a Senior Games volunteer.

In March of 2004 I met the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) requirements and earned my license as real estate broker.

To meet this goal I completed 60 hours of classes, passed 4 tests and a NCREC state board final state exam to become a licensed real estate broker!  Being a licensed real estate broker enables me to teach and/or manage other agents and brokers in    real estate.

October 4th 2005: I am excited to announce my new affiliation with Brick and Garden Real Estate in Cary.  This new association will afford me the opportunity to continue to provide a high level of service while allowing me the option to have flexibility for my client needs.

December 2005: Voluntary participation, support, and time in the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® Project Angel Tree 2005, where REALTORS® play Santa to 1400 children by donating and delivering gifts to three different vendors: Raleigh Rescue Mission, Guardian Ad Lightem, and the Salvation Army. The event  provides brand new, wrapped, gifts to underprivileged children at Christmas.
